Liquid Metal Silver: chrome-like brightness in a self-healing TPU film
Our Liquid Metal Silver TPU PPF gives a polished-metal look with the durability of paint protection film.
The finish
Liquid metal films use very fine, tightly aligned flake to create a continuous mirror-like sheen. Unlike true chrome, the surface still reads as paint, so it photographs as a liquid silver rather than a mirror.
Where it works best
Cars with strong shoulder lines and large curved panels, where the film shows long, smooth highlights. Flat panels look brighter and more chrome-like.
Installation notes
Highly reflective films reveal any contamination underneath. Decontaminate and clay the paint, then work in a dust-controlled bay. Squeegee with a felt edge to avoid marring before the top coat is fully cured.
Care
Dry with a clean microfiber towel to avoid water spots, which show more on bright silver than on darker colors.
