Nardo Grey TPU PPF: the solid-grey look with self-healing protection
Nardo Grey remains one of the most requested solid colors. This project uses our 1.52 × 16 m Nardo Grey TPU PPF for a factory-paint look that also guards against chips.
The color
Nardo Grey is a flat, non-metallic mid grey. Because there is no flake to hide imperfections, surface quality matters: the TPU face film and clear coat give a smooth, glassy finish that holds up next to real paint.
Why TPU instead of vinyl
Grey shows every stone chip as a bright spot. A TPU film absorbs impact rather than chipping, and its self-healing top coat removes light wash marring with heat.
Installation notes
Plan seams on panel lines; solid colors make misaligned seams obvious. Post-heat edges and recesses to set memory, and keep relief cuts away from high-visibility areas.
