White-to-gold chameleon: a pearl white that shifts as you walk around it
A color-shift build using our White to Gold Chameleon Gloss vinyl. Straight on it reads pearl white; at an angle it flips to warm gold.
How color-shift films work
Chameleon films use interference pigments: thin layers that reflect different wavelengths at different viewing angles. The base color you see depends on where you stand and where the light comes from.
Photographing the effect
The shift is strongest under a single strong light source and on curved panels. Overcast light makes the film look mostly white; low sun brings out the gold.
Installation notes
Keep every panel in the same orientation on the roll — rotating a panel 90° changes the shift direction and creates visible mismatches. Order from the same batch for full-body work.
